One of these days I'm going to write about OotP, but I've been really tired lately and haven't had the energy.
Anyway, today I found out my travel partner, Laurie, has a REALLY bad seized up back. She's a nurse at Stanford and she was moving a patience and her back seized. She has two discs misaligned and who knows what else. The only position she's good in is standing. Anyway, the state she's in now, she can't travel to Europe. Our non-stop flight there is 10 hours and it would cause her too much pain. Please pray that it's not too serious for her and she gets better, but also in giving her the wisdom in deciding if she can fly out on Monday (we fly out at 4:30 pm at SFO) or not. Also pray for me as I am not quite comfortable traveling alone (more the fear of the unknown), but also the fact I'm going to have to redo my sleeping arrangements in London after Edinburgh if she doesn't come. So I have fear lingering in with everything else I have to do to prepare to leave on Monday until we know how Laurie does this weekend.
Thanks everyone

*hugs* I'm so sorry, Bethany. Here's to hoping it all works out for you. But you know, if it doesn't - and it might not - it's not the end of the world. You'll still see Maria and Kate and have a fabulous time, though it's not ideal. No matter what happens, you will still get Deathly Hallows on July 21st!, come hell or high water, and you will be able to read it with friends. :)
