My new cell phone

I ordered a new cell phone. My old one is finally dying. It's almost 3 years old. It'll have a full battery, but shut-off on me even though when I plug it in it says it's a full battery. When I try turning it on after it's either a) been plugged in or b) after it's turned off and it'll shut off immediately and it takes a few tries for it to come on. I'm not sure if it's the battery or the phone itself. Sometimes it seems like the battery (it'll say the battery is low) and other times the battery is fine, but the phone turned off. No clue, it's weird.

I ordered a flip-phone and renewed my contract with Cingular for another 2 years (yipee...). It's a Nokia 6126. It'll be interesting having a flip-phone (I'm convinced I like the candy bar better) and it has a camera! I purposefully got my last phone without a camera. Don't ask me why, I don't know. I just remember I didn't want a phone with a camera. :P Now I have one with a camera and video camera. Go figure.

Phone should be here Monday (same cell number). I actually ordered it Wednesday (late at night).

Passport application was sent in almost 3 weeks ago. Hopefully THAT's going well. My CA ID STILL hasn't arrived. I have to call the DMV to figure out what the heck happened to it. It's been over 70 days!

School's going okay. Spring break was nice and I'm glad I got my terrible midterms over with. LoL. I got a 74.5% on my ecology one and 75% on my QFM one. Woohoo me...I'm going to have to do well on the final projects and the final and I should be fine grade wise. I have a mid-level B in both classes after the midterm. My ecology midterm is worth 20% of my grade and my QFM midterm only 10%. Not too worried. Last day of school is May 18th!

I got nominated to be apart of the Academic Planning Committee as a student representative. That was pretty neat! I'll be representing my college SMART (Science, Media Arts, and Technology, I think). There is a total of 4 or 5 students.

Borders and the aquarium are going well. Wild About Otters, the new aquarium exhibit opened last Saturday. It's been a hit and the otters are SO cute. I keep forgetting to take pictures. I'll try the next time I go.

April 21st is the Aquarium's Spring Gala for the volunteers. I got a dress for it. It's a red halter top, just a little below my knee and has an a-line shape to it with a bit of ruff underneath the skirt to have it puff out just a LITTLE. (Like that sentence structure, or lack of? LoL) It should be lots of fun, as usual.

Oh, yes, Happy April and early Easter everyone! :P

With that, I think that's all for now.
