Disneyland Trip

One of the bus drivers (1/4) when we went down south for our grad night got arrested and junk. It made the local news all over the place and was on CNN once. *rolls eyes* Must have been a slow news day. ;-P I wasn't on that bus. That was bus D, and I was on bus A. definitely cut our time down at Magic Mountain. We got there around 1:30pm, and the other bus was even later, around 3pm. We had to leave at 5:30pm too. *shakes head*

Magic Mountain was fun! I got soaked on roaring rapids at magic mountain and had to sit on the bus in wet, soaked jeans for 2 hours going to Anaheim. That wasn't fun. Also the wet socks too...For some reason we decided to do that one last...*shakes head* The rest of the time was fun though.

House of Blues was also fun! They had a band there that played, dance floor, etc. House of Blues is a club, but the high schoolers basically took it over for the day. We had to have these wrist bands and such. I felt like a VIP for a while.

Disneyland was okay for the first...2 hours. Around 3am, I was dying fast... Having gotten up at 5am and hadn't slept at all going down...I tell you, I was getting VERY frazzled nerves. Disneyland did a really good job on decorations and making it a "teenager's" place. Bright, big lights everywhere, live bands, DJs, fireworks, these things with air that blow through them to make them "wave" in the air, etc. It was pretty surreal feeling. A lot of us felt like we were in a movie or something, it just felt WEIRD. I went on Jungle Cruise (at night, it was interesting), Pirates of the Carribean, Indian Jones, Honey I shrunk the audience show (that was weird too, the floor shook, and stuff was sprayed at us), Star Tours (which was very relaxing to me by that time), and some other stuff. I ended up falling asleep for 20 minutes on Main Street too. They let us out early from Disney though. Instead of 6am, they let us out at 5:30am. By around 4am most of us were all ready to leave...

I'm glad we came home today...I don't think I could handle staying up all night, getting 4 hours of sleep and then going to another amusement park. We did amusement park, dinner, than Disney, which worked well!

I think that's all for now! And I have one more week till I graduate! Friday, June 4th, 2004, at 4pm. Lots of fours?

The unrealness of it all....I'm finished with all my academics in high school. It's such a weird feeling...We got our cap & gowns today too, which is even more weird. It's starting to become real to us seniors that we're NEVER going to see the same people again, nor going to the same school ever again. It's such a weird feeling. Things definitely look different at school now. Our lockers are all cleaned out and we're going to Disneyland tomorrow. How much more weird can this get? A phase of my life is done and another one begins, where I go back down the ladder and work my way up. It's just all weird...I just...yeah, it's just really a weird feeling. I know I got an A in math, but my other classes are impending. I might have been lucky enough to pull an A- in English, but I'm still not sure. Econ final kind of sucked today, but oh well. Physics, I think I got my A in that class. I'll see next week though. Any ways, that's all for now.

Oh, wait. That website link below for my English portfolio doesn't work. Someone went onto the MAOS server and deleted all the portfolios. So...I'll have to think of another way to get mine on the web. I wasn't able to readd mine back onto the site like some were able to do because mine is burned onto a CD that I didn't bring with me to school today. Oh well.

Saturday, May 22, 2004

Oh my goodness...it's been 16 days! That's over 2 weeks! >.< My bad...I was going to update last week, but some how it just escaped for me....

Well..news? *thinks* I have $2,350 in scholarships, which is nice. It's enough to get my computer for college! I also have finals on Tuesday and Wednesday and I graduate in 2 weeks! Less than 2 weeks!! June 4th, baby! It's at 4pm too. What a weird time! Then...from 9pm-5am is Sober Grad night. So I'm going to be dead Saturday. Then I have a meeting from 1pm-5pm at the aquarium on Sat (after Grad), then I go to my friend's grad party from 5-7pm, than I have to go to something else at 7-9pm. I hope no one expects me to function on Saturday. *shakes head* It's crazy, but I only have 3 days of school left and than who cares?!

The only bad thing? I've got a cold. At least it's not mono though! At least 5 people at my school have mono. Isn't that a bummer? I was going to study a lot for finals today, but instead I slept from 10pm-1:30pm. Then I lounged for a while, then I did my physics note sheet, shorted my math tests, and started my econ review sheet, which isn't going too well. I'll have to really crack down tomorrow on studying for finals. *shrugs*

I have to get 92/160 on my math test to keep my A in the class. if I don't take the final I still can get a 79% in the class. Isn't that cool?! Mr. Cruzan is being nice and having our final be worth only 160 instead of the normal 200.

In physics, I have to get at least a B on the final to keep my A in the class. I think I have around 93% in physics. *shrugs* In Econ I have, right now, a 96.8%, but I'm missing two homework assignments, and he drops two homework assignments, so I should go up to almost a 100% because I did some extra credit, which will redeem those two homework assignments back! I think I'm stuck with a B in English. Oh well. 4 A's and 1 B still gets me a 4.16, at least. I also found out I'm rank 22 out of 330 (roughly) students. Shame, I was hoping to be under 20, but oh well. Can't have everything!

I think that's all that's really been happening. I've seen a lot of movies lately too. Once a week, so far. *shrugs* Any ways, I best be off. Gotta go rest so my cold can get better! I leave for Magic Mountain and Disneyland on Thursday at 6:45am, and get back home around 1-2pm on Friday. No sleep! WooHoo! *rolls eyes* The schedule goes Magic Mountain, hotel to rest and change, go have dinner at the House of Blues @ CA Adventures, than Disneyland till (roughly) 5am. It's like sober grad night...graduate at 4pm, go home have dinner, come back to the school at 9pm-11pm, stay at the school till 5am. WHY in the world 5am though?! *rolls eyes*

Oh, yeah...my English portfolio (my best works I've done in English through high school) is on-line now too. It's VERY simply made...but it served the purpose for my English teacher. Check it out, if you want. You can see some of my English papers then.

This is officially it, now. Latas!

Thursday, May 6, 2004

Look! I'm a day early over my normal week!! I'm officially into CSF now. I got my pin yesterday! I also got my chevron too. Which is so small...*rolls eyes* The chevron is for your letterman jacket. Not much has been happening. *shrugs* Took my AP Test today in Lit & Comp. 3 hours of testing, 3 essays, 55 multiple choice. Talk about a LONG day, but yet fast. I think...I MIGHT have gotten a 3, but I don't know. My poem compare/contrast essay sucked majorly. Tonight I'm going to the Art Academies Gala showing all the senior projects and such. Going so I can help my friend sell her jewelry that she made for her project. Tomorrow, nothing, Saturday night I have something, but nothing in the day, I think. I'll have to double check my schedule. Well...I don't know what else to say so I'm gonna go. Hasta!
