Only 65%!

THERE'S HOPE FOR ME! I got only a 65%

(Pfftt...dumb code wouldn't work, so I had to work around it...)

Oh, yes, I have my plane ticket for the UK! I got it a few days or weeks ago. I have to NOT lose it now...I also applied for my passport. Hopefully that'll go through. I never got my ID from the DMV so it was a bit tricky getting the passport. They TOOK my naturalization certificate and said they'd mail it back (they better! I don't have a copy of it (stupid of me). Hopefully they'll accept it too. The picture on it is old so I'm not sure if they'll accept it. I guess we'll find out.

So let's hope a) the passport goes through with no problems b) they send back my naturalization certificate (preferably in one piece and good condition).

UK here I come!

I bought my plane ticket to the UK on Sunday! It's official, I'm GOING! I have to go, it's non-refundable and the ticket was a hunk of money. :P

We depart Monday, July 16th 4:30pm at SFO and arrive (next day, nonstop) at Heathrow, London (LHR) at 10:30am. We return Friday, July 27th at 9:30pm at SFO (connecting flight in LAX) and depart at 3:15pm at LHR.

Our itinerary in England/Scotland so far:
July 16 - Depart from SFO
July 17 - Arrive in London; stay at Kate's
July 18 - Look around London and take an overnight train from London to Edinburgh (takes about 4.5 hours)
July 19 - Arrive in Edinburgh and meet with Maria; check into hostel
July 20 - Kate arrives; sightsee and get in line to get our BOOK!!!
July 21 - Read, read, read, sleep, read, read, eat, read, read (they'll probably be some sightseeing too)
July 22 - Sightsee and leave for London; check into London hostel
July 27 - Return home

We have a travel blog too. I'm still not sure if I'm brining my computer or not. It'd be nice because we plan to take a video camera and our digital cameras so it'd be nice to upload things while in London (Maria is bringing her laptop while in Edinburgh since there's free wireless at the hotsel), but in London I'm having issues trying to figure out how to get things from my laptop to a local computer. I guess I could bring my thumb drive...Hm, that could work. I'll have to think on it.

My Grandma

My grandma passed away yesterday (Friday). She was 80 years old.

I should be going down south for the funeral sometime next week. Please keep my family in your prayers and thoughts these next few weeks as it's going to be hard for everyone.
